The OSIRIS Away day – 24th April 2019
It was fantastic to have so many collaborators in one room discussing the various projects within the OSIRIS programme. There were some great discussions between anaesthetists, surgeons, health services researchers, psychologists and patient representatives about the decision making process in surgery and how our research can understand this in more detail. It was a rare chance to get everyone in one room, a great opportunity for debate on an important topic and the first of many such meetings.
“Such an enjoyable and thought-provoking day. OSIRIS combines a mix of qualitative & quantitative research which will hopefully lead to an intervention to really help high risk patients making decisions about major surgery”
