Co-design of the decision support intervention and implementation planning
The computational risk models will be incorporated into a co-designed user-friendly decision support intervention presented on a touch-screen tablet computer, together with an implementation package that supports the collaborative deliberation process.
The implementation of the decision support intervention will be developed from Project 1 data, co-design workshops, and the shared decision making literature.
Specific training packages will be developed to meet doctor and patient needs, and to address barriers identified in our workshops. In the final rounds of simulations, we will pilot, evaluate and refine the training packages to ensure they effectively support implementation during and after the trial.
