Co-design and testing of a decision support intervention for high-risk patients contemplating major surgery
In project 3 we will use the outputs of projects 1 and 2 to co-design a decision support intervention with patients and doctors, incorporating a computational risk model, for use on an electronic tablet during the shared decision making process. The software will allow updates to the model and inclusion of other patient groups in future. We will refine the intervention in multiple rounds of testing and validation before evaluation in Project 4.
